NASW
offers visitors a wealth of educational experiences
for kids to seniors. Its one of the few Aviation
Museums where you can actually get into the cockpit
and relive history.
Tours
The Naval
Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum offers guided
tours to individuals, groups and schools by
reservation.
Your
group will be escorted through our museum by one of
our volunteer guides. Your guide will bring history
to life as your group explores our collection of
rare artifacts and photos of the Naval Air Station's
history and the World War II era.
Youth
“Where Youth Education Takes Flight”
Interactive Displays
Interactive exhibits and educational panels that
explained such complexities as “How Airplanes Fly”
to generations of Franklin Institute visitors have
found a new home at Naval Air Station (NAS) Wildwood
Aviation Museum.
Distance Learning
NASW Foundation has developed a wide range of
educational resources at Hangar #1. NASW was
recently selected as a member of the Cape May County
Distance Learning Consortium. Distance Learning
using compressed video and ISDN technology is now
available which enables museum educators to interact
with students at alternate sites via interactive
video/teleconferencing.
