SB2C “HELLDIVER”- NAS WILDWOOD, NAVY DAY 1945

The SB2C ‘Helldiver”was not one of the most popular carrier aircraft,replacing the Douglas SBD “Dauntless was not an easy chore.After extensive improvements and development,later models proved themselves up to expectations during the last part of the war.Many Helldivers were stationed at NAS Wildwood,which was a primary Dive Bombing training facility.
